(901) NEW YORK METS
(902) PITTSBURGH PIRATES
Take "(901) NEW YORK METS"

The Mets haven't been very good on the road, but I like their chances of kicking off this trip with a win. Livan Hernandez is clearly exceeding expectations and he's in solid form of late. Ian Snell continues to have control issues and while he's not getting crushed, he hasn't been very good, either. With Hernandez running pretty warm right now, I'll back the Mets to grab the win tonight.

(917) BALTIMORE ORIOLES
(918) SEATTLE MARINERS
Take "(918) SEATTLE MARINERS"

The O's have lost two straight games now after Sunday's setback to the Tigers, 3-0. While the O's are in last place in the AL East, they are still only 6 1/2 games back of the Yankees. Likewise, the Mariners are 6 1/2 games back of AL West leader, Texas. The M's have allowed the third least runs in the American League (230). Seattle has the best ERA in the AL (.391) and in fact is the only team with a ERA in the AL under 4.00. Conversely, the O's have the second worst ERA in the AL with a 5.33 mark. Jarrod Washburn starts today for Seattle and is 3-3 on the season with a 3.45 ERA. Rich Hill goes for the birds and is 1-0 in three starts with a 6.14 ERA. Pitching is the key to today's matchup. The Mariners have it, the Orioles don't.

(901) NEW YORK METS
(902) PITTSBURGH PIRATES

McClouth is 4-32 in his last 10 games and is the main reason why the Pirates have lost 7 of 10. Mets have Livan Hernandez going tonight who is hot coming off back to back clutch performances. He has a 3.45 ERA @ night this year in 7 GS. The last time he faced the Pirates this year he went 6IP giving 7 H and 4BB but only 2ER. With control no longer being an issue for Livan (2BB last 3 starts) I look for him to have a great performance against a struggling Pirates lineup. Ian Snell will go to the mound for the Pirates and he has a 8.31 ERA his last 3 starts.

Take mets -110

Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox
Chicago White Sox -133 at 5dimes
15* on White Sox -133

Take the White Sox over the A's Monday. So far this season the A's are just 8-16 on the road. They have one of the worst offenses in the American League, scoring just 4.3 runs per game and hitting .241 as a team. Bartolo Colon gets the start for the Sox, and he has been lights-out in his last three starts. He's just 1-1, but has a 1.31 ERA over that span. Trevor Cahill will be throwing for the A's, and he has been terrible on the road this year, going 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA and a 2.09 WHIP in 4 road starts. The White Sox are 12-10 this year at home and have won 5 of their last 7 overall. They are the smart play tonight.

We end May exactly how we started it, but making huge cash for our clients. I want to say a special thank you to all the people who have emailed me the great comments about our NBA and MLB runs. I have clients who have been with me for years, and they can tell you that NBA and MLB are sports that can be beaten at the books, and we're proving it again this year.

Our dime game NBA players are up close to $24,000 just in the LAST MONTH and our MLB Dime Clients are up $15k just in the last 2+ weeks. It just keeps getting better as we head into June MLB and to the NBA finals!

WUNDERDOG PLAY

Game: Milwaukee at Florida (7:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: Florida -110 (moneyline)

The Brewers come off a sweep of Cincinnati, but let's not forget prior to that they had lost five of six. The Marlins have been trading wins and losses for six games now and they are off a loss. Andrew Miller goes for Florida and he's been solid overall and quite good at home where's posted a 3.00 ERA. In his last three starts overall he allowed just six earned runs in 18 innings. Over the past three seasons, the Brewers are just 9-29 on the road vs. a starter that allows under six hits per game. I like Florida to get it done here.
